Where a photo experience fits in an exhibitor's lead flow

A trade-show photo experience should have a defined role in the exhibitor’s stand. Decide whether it attracts visitors, rewards a completed conversation or gives guests a branded takeaway. Staff cannot execute all three purposes clearly if the team has not chosen a flow.
Map the handoffs
- A host explains the offer and who it is for.
- The visitor completes any intended stand conversation.
- Capture staff run the photo session.
- The guest receives the output and a relevant next step.
Change that order if the event objective requires it, but make the chosen sequence explicit. Do not treat an address entered for photo delivery as evidence of a qualified sales conversation.
Measure separate actions
Track photo participation separately from qualified leads and follow-up activity. Agree on the definitions before show opening so a busy booth is not reported as a sales result without supporting evidence.
Review measurement planning, then brief hosts and capture staff together. Define the receiving sales workflow and required fields before configuring transfer. The photo report and the sales qualification record must retain their own meanings.
Define a qualified conversation separately
Write two records into the measurement plan:
- Photo session: the platform’s actual capture/session definition.
- Qualified conversation: the sales team’s documented criteria and recording method.
A guest can complete one without the other. Report them separately, then connect records only through the approved workflow and appropriate permissions.
Fotozap supports contact capture and surveys at several participant touchpoints. Use those tools to ask questions that have a clear owner and next action. Do not add a long survey merely to make the photo count resemble a lead report. The best next step may be a short conversation with stand staff, not another required field on the way to an image.
