What to decide before showing guest photos on an event screen

Decide how photos reach an event screen before inviting guests to participate. Individual delivery and public display are different uses. Set participant wording, image selection and removal responsibility before opening.

Fotozap supports moderated social walls and photo mosaics. A wall shows individual images; a mosaic places participant images into a larger composition. Choose the format based on what the room should see. Someone checking an individual portrait may need different instructions from a guest finding their tile in a larger image.

Review the actual screen layout. Check cropping, event identity and how different group sizes appear. A portrait that works in a delivery page may need another presentation on a wide display.

Name the display owner

Assign image review, publishing and screen monitoring. One person may cover several jobs if the workload permits, but do not assume the capture operator can also supervise a separate display while managing a queue.

Keep the approved participant wording beside the operating flow. A person receiving an individual image does not automatically mean the image belongs on a public wall. Staff need a clear way to answer that question and route a request.

Rehearse the exception, not just the happy path

Test these two scenarios before opening:

ScenarioWhat the team must demonstrate
An image is unsuitableHold it out of the display through the configured moderation flow
A guest asks about an image already displayedIdentify the output, route the request and apply the agreed removal process

Use the person who will perform those jobs during the event. Record the supported actions and escalation contact; do not promise a removal speed the setup has not established.

Review Fotozap’s social wall and photo mosaic as different display formats. Include the selected workflow in the creative approval inventory alongside capture, individual delivery and any printing.
