What to reset between days of a photo booth event

Updated October 31, 2026
Reset a multi-day photo booth before each opening. Yesterday’s successful session does not confirm today’s supplies, lighting, creative or staffing. A short daily acceptance check is easier than discovering a change after guests start queuing.
Use a reopening list
- Confirm the approved artwork and correct event date.
- Check consumables and the physical capture area.
- Run one complete capture and delivery test.
- Review the day’s schedule, support contacts and staff breaks.
- Confirm storage and access arrangements for the next close.
If creative changes by day or session, identify who checks the active version. Keep old files distinguishable from the approved current set.
Transfer unresolved issues
Record guest requests and technical issues through the agreed provider process. Avoid leaving personal details on a public desk or a shared run sheet. Name the person responsible for follow-up.
Use the shift-handoff guide when different operators cover different days. Keep the final removal plan separate from the ordinary overnight reset.
Treat changing graphics as a scheduled deliverable
Create a row for each day with active creative, opening owner, test sample, and next change. Reusing a device does not mean the event identity stays the same.
Picture Marketing’s PowerAde college-football program ran for 11 weeks with team graphics changing weekly. Weekly changes made the active version part of the operating assignment, not a one-time design decision.
Fotozap’s fleet controls organize creative and device assignments. Use the same operating discipline for a two-day local event: prepare the right versions, name who checks them and retain a sample of what actually ran each day.
